Constraints
I will be explaining the legal and ethical issues which will affect my adverts about the healthy drink for Bubble and Fizz.
Legal
One issue for legal would be specifically copyright, which is because the social media and billboard I will create must not contain any material used without permission from the original owner. More things to consider for the advert will be how it will be regulated, with ASA, BBFC, Ofcom. For example, ASA will have to see whether our advert will actually be suitable for the target audience, like if it is shown to a younger person it must be removed as it will not follow the guidelines. The guidelines will also depend on the social media platform the social media advert will specifically appear on, as the guidelines are often different on each platform.
Ethical
The ethical issues which will have to be considered will be liability, discrimination, and misrepresentation. Libel will be one of them because it is written, unlike slander which is spoken (why it wouldn't count). In the video, we will have to make sure there is there is nothing said which would cause damage to a persons reputation. This in a way can link to discrimination, which will mean there has to be nothing in the video which may cause harm to people of different categories, like gender or age.
